Cheryl Harris is the Administrative Manager for the Imagine Enterprises and joined the team in December 1998.
She provides management support & personnel services for Imagine and heads up Consumer Directed Services. She is also a certified support advisor and the recording secretary for the Board of Directors of Imagine Enterprises.
Previously she worked on the Self-Determination for Texas, the Texas Employment Project and the School to Careers grants, all funded through the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities. She was also on the original team that created the Transition Toolkit and assisted with the recent revamping in July 2007. The toolkit was developed to ease the stress of transition for students with disabilities and their families. She worked for the Alvin Independent School District as the secretary to the Director of Special Education from which she gain significant understanding and background from working with students with disabilities and their family members, assisting the director with yearly budgets, special program applications to meet the individual needs of students, and was a part of the team that implemented the opening of a public school at a local residential facility. Cheryl holds an Associates degree from Alvin Community College.
