Are you looking for a way to improve your EMPLOYMENT mission for people with disabilities? Lone Star APSE is here to help!

We want you to know that you’re not alone! For too long, Texas has gone without a statewide organization that address the needs of all people with disabilities who want to participate in the REAL WORKFORCE!

A grassroots organization composed of people with disabilities, family members, professionals and advocates, Lone Star APSE promotes:

  • The right for all people to have competitive and meaningful employment regardless of a disability
  • Creating suitable workplace supports
  • State policy and practices that promote community, integrated employment dedicated to the economic empowerment and social inclusion of all people

Membership in Lone Star APSE:

  • Supports state-of-the-art educational training opportunities
  • Provides a united voice to state leadership during policy development
  • Defines supported employment best practices
  • Creates a network to exchange information, share ideas, and increase knowledge about trends in Supported Employment
  • Provides a great resource to find who is doing what in Texas
